groundhogs and turkeys... at night?

RE: groundhogs and turkeys... at night?
I'll be the 1st to guess on the "turkey" pic, (and probably be wrong) but I'm guessing its a canine type animal. Maybe a fox or coyote. The bushy tail sort of looks like a turkey fan folded up, but the more I look at the legs, I'm thinking fox or yote. They look too far apart to the a turkey, and turkeys dont walk like that. Plus if it wasa turkey, it must have forgotten what turkeys are supposed to be doing a couple hours after dark.
Cool pictures, I'm interested to see what others think it is

I would say its probably a muskrat then because muskrats are mainly nocturnal and groundhogs are active early morning and late afternoon but not much when its dark.

Groundhogs will be out at night, my brother killed one walking to his stand opening morning last year with his knife about an hour before daylight (awesome story BTW).
