I usally put a couple of hen decoys out in one of my food plots in the spring and I get some really great pics of toms strutting for the girls. Another place you can try is were the turkeys like to dust themselves. Good luck deerman69

No bait, feed etc: allowed here either, so it makes it tough at times. I started this year completely blind as far as cam placement,so I checked moist ground for tracks, concentrating on ag field edges, inside corners and anywherea two track entered a field. I don't get turkey pics at every location, every time, and sometimes no birds at all, but something interesting usually walks by. Lots easier to get deer pics IMO.

One thing I've learned here is the our turkeys like higher places (like hills) and thats where they strut there stuff so everyone can see them. I haven't yet but if I was going to set one up I would do it there.

I leave my cams out all year and just have happened to get a few by chance. I dont use them for turkeys. I will use that info though to help me bag one this season.
