Default New to hunting and trail cams

A friend and I took up hunting last year and are really enjoying it. We have been scouting several properties and finally bought a feeder and camera. A few weeks ago we decided to set them up a new property we received permission to hunt on. We were up at the property, in northwest Missouri, on Saturday and could not of had a better day. The weather was warm and the wildlife was out and about. We saw nearly 40 deer and a wild dog.

Here are a few pictures of the turkeys that we caught on the camera (Moultrie D40)

Here are a few pictures I took while walking the property.

Is this a big turkey print? It seemed large, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Deer that was killed on the river. We found the carcass 100 or so feet back on the river.

Finally, what we believe to be a mountain lion track. It was been rumored that one has been seen on the property in years past. It was several inches across. What do you think?

Thanks
James

Nice pics, looks like an awesome property.
I use D40's also. For the price they're great.

That's great that you took up hunting, it's super fun. Looks like you should have no problems killing a turkey, sounds like it might not be that hard to get a deer if you seen like 40 of them either. As far as the mountion lion kill it could very well be, they are all over the place now.[:'(]

Thanks everyone!

I have fishing bass tournaments for about the last 9 years (25 years old). Hunting just seems to be an extension of my love for bass fishing. The tactics between the two hobbies seem to go hand in hand.

Here is what the last picture was meant to be. WE believe it is a print from the montain lion.
