Default Has anyone used the SmartScouter?

I was wondering if any of ya'll have bought the SmartScouter and if so what your experience has been with the camera AND the mobile service itself ...what are the average monthly cost of the service you are incurring and do you think it was or will be worth the investment?

ROLL TIDE

DD,

I personally have not used the Smartscouter but you can go to www.chasingame.com and read a review on it. I have alsoread that the per picture price is kinda high, in addition to the monthly service. I have also heard that the picture quality isn't much better than a cell phone picture. If anybody has any other info. I would like to hear it myself.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

I have not used the smartscouter and dont know anyone who has, but I do know they are pretty pricey.

IMO..invest that money into a few IR cams like the Scoutguard SG550

I bought 2 Smart Scouters to put on my lease in Brown Co., IL. There was phone service there, but no data service. The cameras wouldn't work, so I brought them back to GA. Here I had data service, but couldn't get the cameras to send the pics to the server. The technician came down and worked on them, but they still wouldn't work reliably. I'm sending them back for now.

It's a great concept that will work in a lot of places, but I'm going to wait for some improvements in the cameras and the cell service.
