I had the same problem and I started setting traps. I caught one and it seemed to work at keeping the others away. I think I have had 1 coon pic in a month.

Sounds to me like there is too much of an assortment of bait which is attracting un wanted guests. IMO. I would break it down to just a lick or cane. That or find out what they are eating and try moving the camera.

Do you have a lot of acorns around there? My deer sighting have dropped considerably since the acorns started dropping. We have a bumper crop this year. I don't have a big problem with coons, they might show up every other week and they don't stay long. I have one picture of a nice 8pt kicking the coon off the pile. I don't think the coons scare the deer away.

The only thing I use for picture taking moments is the Trophy Rock. I've never caught pictures of anything else eating on that. I put that out in May or so til August for inventory pics and then I'll move my cams to see where they spend most of their time eating or cruising lanes.

RE: I NEED HELP

I dont believe that coons are running your deer off at all, I have tons of pics with deer and coons eating together.Up until 2 weeks ago i was getting lots of deerpics in my food plots then here comes hurricaneIKE, he decided to blow bunches of acorns outof the trees, andguess what deer like them better than oats and corn. So check the ground in your hunting area and see if you have acorns on the ground.
