I did that exact thing to my stealthcam wildview Camera as our property borders public state land and I was a bit worried some trespasser might make off with it. Worked great, hides it pretty well and nobody has made off with it yet.

I have it on my I40 for a 2 months and it works great... just check occasionally to see that it isn't smearing/stickingup the cover, or you'll have a mess when you go to replace it!

i use soft cloth tape also on mine but a 4 wheeler did see my camera.
they spotted that shiny ir lense that turns red at night.
i wonder if there is way to take that shiny area away.
maybe moultrie can change that, it does stick out.
people are looking for our cameras now, they are finding them too and stealing them.
i brought mine in today as archery starts sat here in pa.
trust me, no matter how you camo it on publicland,THEY WILL FIND IT AND a lot are being stoled on privateland too as most dont hide them thinking they are safe.
play it safe, bring it in during hunting season or it will be gone sooner or later.
