A friend and I are debating just how old this buck is. My friend thinks he is a 3.5 year old. I'm not so sure.

He looks like he may eventually develop at least one droptine and if he is young, might develop into an outstanding buck in another year.

This is a trophy managed fair chase hunting lease. With that in mind, would you:
a. Let him walk. He is young and will be an outstanding buck next year.
b. Smoke him. He is older and has reached near his maximum potential.

i have to agree with your buddy 3.5 his back is pretty straight and i dont see much of a drop in his belly area. he shore is a nice one though

Well i would take it!! it looks like he could be lackin tine length and could be a bit spindly

3.5 year old and the drop tine idea could be right. All though he might have scraped off a chunk of velvet and it looks like a drop tine.
