I honestly can't compare them because all I have is the gamewatcher 4.0, but I'm happy with it.

Go with the gamespy as I dont think moultrie makes the gamewatcher anymore, so you would probably have better luck with customer service ect if something goes wrong. Also you get what you pay for so spend the extra money and get the gamespy. Also make sure that you DONT get a camera that takes a 12volt battery. Get one that takes 6 D batteries or whatever they are.

why do you say this? my first Moultrie took the 6 volt lantern battery (which i think you meant to say) and works fine. i would get approximately 4 months of use before i had to switch batteries. granted my cam was not hanging over a corn pile or in freezing temp.'s.

The camera I had ate those batteries like it was its job. 4 days max[:@]. At $10 a pop it gets expensive fast. Now I dont think they make cameras that run on the big batteries. The m60 I got has been out for a good 2 months and is down to 85% battery life and has taken thousands of pics off 6 D cells.
