Shane, that's intresting as hell! I bought mine last season, and really had great results, getting great quality pics with zero problems. Why do you say they went down hill? Is this what I have to look forward to? Ieven thoughtmine had good battery life.

I bought 30 of the excites. The first year I had good resultswith 26 of the cameras , the other 4 didnt take as many pics as the others. The next year I dont know what happened, they all got harder on batteries and some the flash would go off every minute but not record a picture. With some of the cameras they would only take 30 0r 40 pics befor the batteries were dead, they would flash everytime there was movement but not record an image. It was as if there was an internal memory in the camera and after so many pics they started to shut down? This is my findings anyway.I had 60 cards and all cards worked good. I will not buy another excite again.

Damn Shane, I've never heard of anyone having that many trail cams! You must have some serious coin. How do you keep track of that many cams, with a map? I don't get that many pics in a 2 week period, that's how often I check my cam. I might get maybe 20 or so. I'll let you know how mine works out for melater in the season, July/August. Good luck with yours.

He said 30 cams, with 60 cards. I would assume two cards per cam.
