Very nice. Do you know what happened to that one buck with the messed up rear leg?

We found a buck fawn hanging in a fence in mid August a year ago. It had an injured rear right leg. It was still alive but tired. It was freed and placed on the ground. 4 hours later we returned to bury it, expecting it to have died, but there was no trace of it anywhere. I believe this to be the same deer as all the pics I got were in the same area, but I don't know for sure. The injury, the sex,and the age are consistent though.

That is really neat. I was expecting a 'wounded last year' or 'car' answer.....but that is really cool. Glad to hear he made it. Kudos to you!

Nope. They are my sheep/goat farmer neighbors who live to the north of me. Gotta love the shorts/boots attire. I printed the pic and gave it to him. He said if he had known he was getting his picture taken he would have dressed up.
