I've tested the Predator, you can read the entire review at the website listed below. In short the camera has some good qualities but the picture quality is poor, especially for a camera that is priced over $400.

That is a good question, I haven't used the video since I use the pictures on my website. I'll put some batteries in and take some video to see how it goes.

I've taken some video here in the house and the video looks OK. I guess that is the advantage to IR, it gives you the night video capabilities. I'll also have to admit that I'm not an expert on trail cameras used in the video mode, but from my limited video experience it seems to hold its own.
