Strange Bear Behavior
 

Check out these series of pics I got of a bear on camera. He appears to urinates on the ground (at least I think he does or did he just clear the leaves?). He then proceeds to roll around in it. Strange.

The area that I am referring to is in the lower left hand portion of the picture. You do not see it in the first picture.

20 minutes after that. He leaves after this, but does return 4 hours later (8:41), to check the spot again.

have you checked the local newspapers to see if the ZOO has any escaped animals?

Did you have some scent there or bait? Alot of times bear will cover up there food and role in it on the ground.
