Picture quality is not the issue with Cruddeback or Mouldytree, but it is dependability and longevity. Here is a picture off my digital Ranger 6.0, and I know a Cruddeback can't do this (you have to have a "real" camera). The two buck pictures are off my digital Ranger 6.0, and the nursing fawn is off my older digital 4.1 Camtrakker.

no, i have never taken a picture with my cuddeback, i have a camera for that. your rump ranger and cam slacker take nice pics, but, i'm guessing the trigger speed isn't quite what my cuddebacks is, or you wouldn't need those piles of corn to get pics.

jerry, it runs on four d's, for a loooong time. i'm not sure of the model, i got it three years ago when they only had one style. regular flash, not ir. runs like a top, i've never had a problem with it, or any desire to get something else.

Hey, not really better, but still a good quality picture from this moultrie. It was 59 dollar close out from walmart, picked 2 of them up. I also have 2 stealth cam which work great as well as a nice bushnell 5.0 with infra red which i like. these 3 are from the 60 dollar moultrie camera. check my album for a few nice ones once they are approved. i will prolly buy a cuddeback no flash soon, just want to buy some other things first ;) like a nice mount... I have this guy about 6 other times over 2 months or so, i will let him live 3 more years before hopefully harvesting him, DBL DROP TINE BUCK

i think moultrie probably look the worst. is it like .0003 megapixels? they look like they were done with watercolors or something.

Out of the 26 I have used I would say the best currently available is the Trial Watcher 2035. It uses a Sony W35 and has good battery life, picture quality, dependability, locking capabilities, trigger speed, ease of operation and a varied time delay selection. The Camtrakker Digital Ranger runs right behind this trail cam but uses the Sony W30 and uses a poorer case design as compared to the Trail Watcher. The Camtrakker case design has caused some problems.

i have a bushnell 2.1 mp 11-9302 Infa red w/ standard flash. i love it, except i'm still experimenting with the batteries, it uses 4D's, during the summer, they were last 3 weeks, now that its in the 30's and 40's at night, they seem to only last a week, which i know sucks! check out pics from my thread! a nice 5x7 12 pointer showed his face!
