Default Moultrie 4.0 ?

I bought a 4.0 from walmart today for $99 just wondering what the camera ID is? Also I have set the date and time, multi shots-1,event delay-1, video quality-low, image quality-med, capture mode-still, flash-auto, setting-custom. Does this sound right to you and how dod you know if the shutter is on or off. I guess to get it to work you turn it to auto, press shutter, close the cover and wait for pics, does this sound right also. I read the directions but dont know...If you guess could help me out i would like to get this thing behind the house tonight and it is already 10pm....

the cam id is just what you want to read out on the pic such as west stand or home qtr, some have just numbers. the best thing you can do is to play with it before you set it up so you can see how it reacts to movement, distance, and the angle to set it up for the best pic.

Depends if you have a card or not....on my 4.1 Moultrie, the internal memory can only hold a few pictured on high quality. But with the 1GB card it holds 553.

I just bought this camera and so far I like it. I haven't played with it yet to see what all it will do. Got mine for $99.00 also but not from Wally world.

The shutter button is for taking movies. Put it to auto and then turn it on.

Im pretty sure the shutter button is for taking Hand-held photos. I also have this camera it is great! I had some problems with my first camera so I sent it back to Moultrie and they sent me a new one. All you have to do is pay the first shipping. They pay for the camera and shipping there after. I have mine set on medium quality. Make sure you get an SD card that way your camera can stay out in the woods longer.
Good Luck with your camera!

If you get Natchez Shooting supply mag. they have them in there for 88 bucks. I took that into Wal-Mart and they sold them to me at that price.
