Default FLASH VS. INFARED

just got a trail cam w/ a flash. have you all had experiences spooking big bucks with the flash, or is it more rare than i hear?trying to decide if the pictures w/ flash are worth the risk?

Its hit or miss, some bucks will spook, others wont. Sadly, the bigger they are the easier they spook.

This buck came in for 19 pics in one hour one night... others were the same way. They get used to it i think

HERE ARE MY PICS FROM LAST NIGHT. THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO BE VERY SPOOKED. I'LL SEE WHAT TONIGHT PRODUCES. BOTH ARE IMPRESSIVE BUCKS, BUT I'VE GOT MY SIGHTS ON THE WIDE ONE. HOPEFULLY HE'LL STICK AROUND!

I like many have had many pics of the same deer in sequence that were not spooked by the flash. I wont say they cant be but I have never seen any indiaction on my camera. It shoots three shot bursts and they seem comfortable in all 3 shots.

The bucks came back last night and hung around for 45 minutes and 20 pictures. moved my camera to a different tree and didn't get real quality pics of the bucks. But I answered my question, these bucks could care less about the flash. Tonight should produce better pics
