Bama,
I have the same camera and solar panel as you and bought an SD memory card for extra storage. I have left it out as long as 3 months and the battery was still fully charged. I have been real happy with the setup.

Good luck.

Good, i set it out yesterday evening behind my new i'm building. I didn't put the solar panel on it because i don't aims to let it stay on that tree that long. But when i put it down on my in-laws farm where i do alot of hunting i'm going to put the solar panel on it. I just hope i got some pics lastnight, i'm like a kid with a new toy here.

Well didn't get any pics, but i had fresh tracks walk in front of the cam. But my battery went low. Kinda sucked it didn't last but about 3 days. Next time i put it out i'm gonna hook up the solar panel. Do i need to set my solar panel in the direction of morning sun, or towards the evening?

u might also check to make sure the settings are correct. Like making sure the trigger is set to one minute and not an hour... Also use the IR aim to figure out where to aim. The light blinks when you trip it so you know if its set to high/low. Good luck

Yeh, i'm pretty sure i had it set right. But i will for sure use the IR aim next time. I have my settings on 1min between pics and i also put it on the 2shot burst. I'm going to set it out at a better place next time that we are pretty for sure has some good bucks so maybe i'll get some shots then. How long does yalls batteries run without the solar panel?

get a duracell and it should last at least a week and thats if it takes a bunch of pics. (75-100) Other batteries Ive tried havent worked as well. Do not buy a heavy duty battery stick to alkaline.
