trail camera ???
Just wondering if "BIRDS" will set off the camera's. I have quite a few dove behind the house and just want to make sure I will not be wasting my time taking pics of birds. I know that there are some nice bucks back there just have to figure out their patterns. I see at least 6-8 deer every night and they are eating 25lbs. of corn every 3 days...

I would bet you that the deer aren't going through that much corn...but the birds are. In Texas, where I live, there are quite a few dove and they are constantly around the deer feeders getting the corn.
I would have to agree with the others...birds will set off your camera and there isn't much you can do about it.

Birds, rabbits, squirrels ...all will set-off the camera.
Best bet in my opinion to inventory your deer (bucks inparticular) is to post your camera over a Mineral Lick (not just salt). Birds and other critters won't bother with it much....just the deer and occassional coyotes (scent checking).

THanks guy's. and with the corn it's not to bad I buy 40lb. bags from wal-mart for like $4 something and I am pretty sure the der are eating at least 90% of the corn beings I see them at the corn pile for at least an hour or hour and a half a night.
