What do you mean by traveling, like they are up and moveing from there beds or there out looking for new land or something!

When the rut is approaching we always get pictures of bucks that we hadn't seen in the previous weeks and seldom see again. From our trail camera experiences it sure looks like the bucks pick up their activity and expand their territory during the pre-rut/rut.

Yah I get ya, I recently read a Greg Miller book called rub line secrets and he talks about this in there he says they will leave there core areas during the rutthat they lived in during the pre rut.
