Can anyone tell me what type of bird these are. I live in sounthern Indiana and there was a flock in my yard this morning. They sounded like turkeys and were about the size of a small chicken. And are unlike anything I have ever seen. Any info would help. Sorry about the picture quality.

it's a guinea ,and is commomnly found on farms i got one and they are really cool animals they eat bug's like tick''s cock roacher and other pest and they are know for killing snakes and rodents and keep gardens clean from plant eating insects they probabyl they came from a near by farm,and u can eat them

They love playing in the street, like a opossum does.

Yeah those are definately guineas. I hate them birds. Some people keep them as watch "dogs". They are very loud and vocal.
