Default I got some pictures!!

Well, I set 3 cameras out on my land I'm buying 2 weeks ago to see if I could get any pictures. A Moultrie Game Spy 200, a Stealth I390 and a Bushnell Trailscout. I was pleased with all of them. The Moultrie has a solar panel and took 200 pictures and the battery status went from 94% to 99% during the 2 weeks. The Stealth only took 56 pictures, but actually took most of the best ones and the 6 volt battery showed to still have a full charge. The Bushell took 1,448 pictures in 6 days before the battery went dead. I made a big mistake setting it up and it took pictures of a fence post blowing in the wind about 1,400 of those pictures had absolutely nothing in them.

Here are a few of the best pictures from each:

Stealth I390:

Moultrie Gamespy 200:

Bushnell Trailscout:

(I would have never guessed that a cow could have made it under that fence - 99% of the rest of the pictures were exactly like that picture except without the cow - that fence post must have been enough to trigger the camera)

I moved the bushnell to a new spot. I was really excited going out to check on them and was very happy to actually get some pictures of something besides a bunch of cows!

FWIW, Nathan

Thanks for the comments. I was just really happy that there was something other than cows in the pictures!

We are going to close on the property this Friday!

The Bushnell doesn't take SD cards? (The one I'm using does)

The Stealth I390 takes compact flash cards though.

I'm not sure what kind of card it would use would matter much though, the 1 gb cards are about $10 for the SD cards and $18 for the CF cards. $8 difference wouldn't sway me in deciding between two different cameras.
