Looks more like momma and a fawn rather than a yearling.

you say it looks like a fawn, I only call them fawns till their spots fade. you see any spots in that pic? maybe this little one is a few {2} mnths from first birthday so it's not a "yearling" yet. but then again I'm not the answerman, I'm just sixeight.

I'm just passing along to you the same hard time that someone passed on to me when I called a fawn a yearling. They are yearlings (for a year) after they reach one year old. And fawns previous to that.
