Default What one to get?

Currently I have a Non Typical Deer Cam (film)
Im looking to get a digital but I am stuck on two cameras. I do like the Cuddeback Series. But I have heard good things on the Leaf River. There is a No Flash out by Cuddeback but I dont want a Non Flash Camera.
Heres what I narrowed it down too.

Cuddeback EXpert 3.0 Digital Video Scouting Camera (399.99)
Or
Leaf River DC-6SS 6.3 Scouting Camera with Super-Sized View Screen (380.00)

Thanks.
Cory

Go here first. www.chasingame.com

Read the comparison between the cuddeback and the bushnell trail sentry 2.1
I just got the sentry this week.

If you are willing to spend that much, it is my opinion that you look into a Trail Watcher 2040. For just a little bit more money you can get a real good camera. These have a Sony digital camera in them and take great pictures. The electronics are very reliable and the whole unit is compact and very well built.

Do NOT buy the Cuddeback. Yes they take good pictures but WHEN you do have trouble you will not get any help from them. I have sent mine in 3 times and it still is not getting pictures of anything. At least they got it to write to the card now. I think the trigger is just messed up. I have been messing with it since April. Not one picture of a deer all year.

If you really have that kind of money to spend do what I wish I had done. Get yourself 3 or 4 of the less expensive ones and set them all over. Best of luck to you with it.

For a little more money, you can get a Camtrakker digital Ranger. I have 2 Camtrakker digitals and love them. They are simple to operate and very reliable. My digital Ranger uses a Sony 6.0 camera that I also use for my kill photos in the field. To me, being able to take the camera out and use it adds a little bang for your buck.
