well I just went out to check my cams and my Wildview was "crazy 8s"(showed all eights on the screen). I just figured the 6V battery was dead. Funny thing was, when I turned off the unit the 8s stayed on screen (??). When I went to look at the pics on the card with my new Stealth viewer, it said "card error". Checked on my computer and no pics. I was a bit bummed (only 20 or so pics, but....). I am sure the book said that with a card in the pics would not be lost when batteries are removed (or die) (??)

I had thesame problem last week. I had left the camera for 7 days and had over 1900 pics. When I tried to check them it said error about something. Then they were gone. I have no idea what happend but the camera is working again.
