Much better pictures today! I love the rifle. Now to order a flintlock kit as my own LMAO.

You did an AWESOME job that Stock! I see an upcoming winter project, I think I’ll strip my light colored Hawken stock and give this a Try. Some folks would love this Light Colored Hawken Stock as it is, i am totally different there, i prefer the Darker Colored look. I even like the Bright Shiny Brass But that stuff is miserable to keep that way, I don’t even bother trying. On a new to me Rifle i will give the Brass a Good going over and get it Looking Sharp New again, Then let it naturally fade out

Very nice Jon. I wish CVA would make a stock without the patchbox. It looks nice but not really needed. Besides, being a lefty and hunting on days where the temp is hovering around below the freezing point and you shoulder that rifle sometimes that brass sticks to your cheek. Not all of it but just enough to get your attention.
