Hi all
Went out for a range session today with a .54 cal Renegade I had not shot before. It performed very well but have a curiosity with the patches. Most look as they should but some were torn. The patches were lubed with olive oil and just lubed this morning and using 70 grains of pyrodex. Is it possible the patches that were torn were slightly dry? Thoughts please
Thank you all in advance!

Thanks for responding, I have tried attaching photos but they won't upload for some reason. Maybe the file is too big?
I have compared the crown/rifling to another Renegade that does not cut patches and the rifling feels somewhat sharp at the crown when rubbing a finger over the crown in a circular motion on the barrel in question.
Thoughts?
