anybody making custom bags looking for a nice deer skin bag with enough compartments to shoot smooth bore or patch and ball. looked at lot's of sites on the web but not many in stock other than a couple that not really liking too much. thanks !

Instead of one with several pouches you can just get one with a center divider. Use one side for your tools, fires starter, etc. and the other for patches, balls, shot etc. You can put them in separate leather ball/shot bags. The powder of course would be carried in a horn with a deer antler measurer!

Muzzlestuffer, your initial reaction is going to be "no way". But........ If you have a large thrift store in your area it will likely have a HUGE (per The Donald) selection of purses that go for a few bucks each. The Goodwill Thrift Store near me has what looks to be well over a hundred. Many are leather and a few are of a style that could, with a bit of imagination, cutting, and stitching, be modified to make a serviceable and attractive possibles bag.

what the heck we can switch bathrooms why not carry a purse for a possibles bag ? lol
