Default do you tumble your balls !

sorry couldn't resist the pun ! some shooters i know tumble there round balls in a tumbler i think one of the side type ? any tips and what a good quality tumbler to buy ? thanks !

No reason to tumble them. A waste of time and an even bigger waste of money.

i had a feeling i would get some good jokes !! the only reason i see to tumble is making them a bit more uniform and it eliminates the little bit of sprue left on them ?

Theres a flat side anyway after you push down a properly sized patched ball. The sprue just makes it easier to see if the ball is centered or not. Tumbling is only going to give you an inconsistent ball size from one to the other.

Once in a while when I sit or step on them!
Man you're just asking for it with a question like that with this group.
But seriously NO. I use Lee moulds and they cut the sprue very close. Still visible but not enough to worry about.

yeah i know this is a tough crowd ! but i really did want to find out if any one was doing it ? " not scratching or shifting " just tumbling !! lol
