RE: moose, 2002
Carl,
Normally I use my gerber gator and have to bring along a sharpening stone, using it usually twice on a moose. I had to see if I could get him from start to finish, so away I went. It worked great! I'll tell ya, it sure does need a good sharpening before I go for elk though LOL! Again, thanks!

Congrats Dan! I thought I saw some blood on your trailer! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I scored last night as well. Got a 40" bull up off the ridge. Story is on the bowhunting forum (I used wheels). Pics should be up in the next few days.
Good luck down south, I'll be right behind you!

I thought we would just build a fire under it and eat it on the spot?
Chad (big appetite, especially when hunting)

Well, I like my meat rare anyway, so maybe we can just build a fire around it. Dang Dan--you gotta find a hobby dude--all this hunting is gonna' get old--lol. Good luck and be careful!
