The guy was in the Damn Yankees with that loser from Styx. He speaks like he knows everything. Only a fool believes their own opinions are of so much value as to be un-open to debate. Calling him a musician is an insult to musicians everywhere. I hate him. The again I'm a Wilco fan so...

I HATED Styx and didn't like the Damn Yankees either.
I think a guy like Wensel or Asbell bring a little more class to the table and are a much-better representative of what traditional bowhunters are like!

His somewhat manic personality aside ,
Nugent is an excellent advocate for the outdoors . He is an ardent Second Ammendment supporter , on the board of the NRA , and doesn't flinch or back down when confronted by those who would abolish hunting and private ownership of guns . Yeah , he's a little hard to take on the surface , but if you've ever seen the episode of Politically Incorrect where he shredded not only Bill Maher but Gloria Allred as well you would have cheered too . He was totally calm , never raised his voice , countered every illogical liberal claim they made , and generally made one of the best arguments for the outdoor sports that I've ever heard . Nugent was the only reason that I've ever watched that show , and I wasn't disappointed .

He's brash & maybe even a little kooky sometimes, but he's on our side, is non-aplogetic, & definitely doesn't back down. I also believe that his career long anti-drug/pro USA message has helped more kids than we'll ever know.
I certainly don't agree w/everything he says, but consider him a patriot & a (battle-ready) 4 star general in our fight against the liberals.

I like him, I think that maybe his show needs a bit of polishing up. You cant really be talking about the spirit of the wild if you are shooting a pig from under a feeder. My opinion but i do agree he is a counterbalance for the extreamests.

I have read in numerous national publications that Ted is the most sought after inteview/guest in matters relating to gun-control, the Second amendment, and hunting. He is THE best known NATIONAL personality in the areas mentioned above. Regarding his equipment, he is an entertainer and is paid big bucks to use the stuff he advertises. I'll bet if Simms offered us 100K per year to use limb savers, we would have em on our bow (wheels that is!). I hope he is active another 50 years.
