I went on a late elk hunt with the wheel bow as I am waiting for my new falcon and I'll tell ya I let three shooters walk by the last three days. I was 11 yards from a 4x4 bull this morning but bulls are not open here this time of year. The 3 cows I saw were on the small side so I let them walk but if I would have had my recurve they all would have been easy kills at less than 15 yards. I have till the 11 of dec. to kill one so letting these lady's walk was fine with me. I love the hi country this time of year we had 7 inches of snow last night and it was awsome out there. I did shoot at a bobcat but missed a touch low. I know I gotta wait for the recurve and then practice all summer but I just couldn't help thinking about how cool it would have been to nail one of them with my new wackin stick, Can't wait till next year. sounds like you already had a great trip. Yep it will only get better not relying on technology though. Good Luck through the rest of season

LOL if your ol lady is like mine you will get the bow first! Just waitin on Chad to mail out two bows I bought from him and have another on order with him. Also got another crusader coming in the mail right now to that I acquired from a fella. Man I love those chek mates!!!!!!!!! Good Luck waiting on the bow and your wife both [8D]

Shoot yeah I'm hidin! If it's any consolation, I figure you will get yours before I get mine, and I've been waiting a lot longer--lol. Something about customers coming first and I'll get mine eventually--dang business ethics......I'm getting a td Crusader with beeswing figure eucalyptus (or jarrah if you want it to sound more expensive) veneer on the limbs, yew cores. You think it's hard waiting.....you should be getting some of these beauties and have to turn around and send them to somebody else! It's killin me.......especially when I have to send two of the prettiest I've ever seen to some knucklehead in OH.........life just ain't fair sometimes.........

HMMMMMM don't know no knucleheads round here! Will have to check around some see if I can find this fella. But hey in the mean time why didn't ya post any pics? I can't make the ones ya sent me smaller without loosing detail for some dang reason. Will be stalking the mailman by the way[8D]

Chad I feel for ya Man!!! You get a deer Yet. I went out yesterday morning and zipped a small blacktail doe with the wheel bow but she was only 20 yards away. Sad when I think about it now as if i would have waited another few seconds I would have had a shot at a heavy horned 4x4. Well now I have to down a cow and the freezer will be topped off . My last day at work is Jan 28th so I got time before things get tight. No jobs around right now . but gods got a plan. I had a dream some guy broke into my house trying to steal my CM falcon. He didn't make it. I think I got a sickness!!!:D

I think Im going to have to drive to the shop[:o] I cant take this friggin wait. Dang its hard. If'in I slipped them some extra money You think it would speed them up. I mean dang the holidays are overrated anyway right??? LOL

Lol--no deer for me. Barely been out lately--got too much to do. I'm gonna have to get out at least some before it's too late.
