Default Bear Kodiak Hunters

I'd like to know what others' opinions are on the Kodiak Hunter bows?

Good, junk, decent?

Shortcomings and/or advantages?

Thanks,

mju

I used to own a kodiak magnum in the 70's . It was stoled from my truck in 1983 never ever found. I sure miss it ,as I took alot of deer with it.

I had a 68 model, first year they were green. A 45#er and I wish I had it back! I worked well for me!

eBay's loaded with 'em guys! I just picked up two Kodiak Mag's. One is in nice condition and cost $90 and the other was mint and was $150!

I have always been happy with mine. Thats about 1/3 the price of a new Martin recurve! And I think they look better as well!

I have a 04 super kodiak. I love this bow. Shoots great and i probably will never sell it. The only thing that i didnt like is that it says its a 55 pounds of pull but its actually 60. Kinda bummed at first but then i started to shoot it more and more and its perfect.

I've only shot a few of the new Bears, but owned several of the old ones. I like the old ones a lot better. Don't recall if I ever had a Kodiak Hunter or not.
