Default Archery Tourney Results

Well, I went down by London this weekend with the Crusader TD I got from Chad (Sorry Chad can't have it back for any price ) for a two day 3-D shoot, the farthest shot was 45 yards down hill, anyhow, I took first place and broke only one arrow.

Any how back to testing, My new POC arrows shafts are here, need to cut them a 1/2 to 3/4" longer and my 160 grain snuffers and points should be here Friday, then back to 3-D shoots.

I knew I was messin up selling that bow......it's the twin to Stella (my Crusader), but in a take-down model......a little fancier than mine too.[&o]

Sounds like she likes you just fine though--congrats on the tournament! Sounds like they have taken some lessons from the guys at the TX State Longbow Championship for settin out the course--did you have a lot of brush in the way too? Great shootin either way--show 'em that you got something for those ELBs! lol

OH yea, brush, limbs, trees, targets set way back into a hole, giving you that illusion(sp?) of it being closer than real is. and pretty steep shots down hill to.

Sounds like a great shoot--too dang far for me though! lol At the TSLC, there were close shots, long shots, big targets, little bitty ones, uphill, downhill, on the edge of a creek, across a creek, one or two on a limb or log on the edge of the creek, open field, thick woods, etc. etc. No tunnel shots, but they had at least three targets (2 were deer) that were a lot smaller than any similar animal I'd ever seen--made it look like they were a lot further away. Several of them had ropes for you to either get to the target to pull your arrows, or get back up after you had pulled them. Great shoot--hope to go back--long drive though.

Thanks for sharing! Any chance of posting some pictures?
