thanks so much for all the suggestions! you all have been a big help. i'll keep these suggestions in mind when i buy my next tab or glove. :)

hey sho-me i use a "pack tab" from saunders. slicker than leather, wont take a crease and can be had for less than 10 bucks. just bought 4 from lancaster archery since i was having a hard time finding them and dont want to be without...........groundhawg

hey just to let you guys know if your gunna try a glove try a new (but old) different style mainly used by more veteran english longbowmen when fireing at a 45' arc
a normal bowman fires one finger above 2 below
next time try 3 below i find it to be a lot more comfy when using a glove

Have used both glove and tab.. find I shoot better with tab..Like the Buffalo tab or make one myself..

Damascus glove.

I like the fact that I can use my hand normally, then quickly grip the string and take a shot, without messing with a tab. Less to think about IMO.
