RE: Storing cloths in garbage bags
I use a ice chest to store my hunting cloths in it is air and water tight the heavey duty handles so I can carry it and it stores easy in the shed. It has worked for me now for three years better than any other thing I have tried includeing rubber maid.

RE: Storing cloths in garbage bags
You can't get your clothes or your body clean enough for a deer to not smell you. If you can afford to shell out the cash for a Scent Blocker or other scent elimination system, I guess you can defeat the deers nose. At least that is what they advertise.
The only thing that I know works for sure is being downwind. If you setup downwind of the trail and don't stink up the area getting in and setting up or climbiong into your stand, then it doesn't matter what you have stored your clothing in or what you smell like. Bill |
