She got a dozen roses at work yesterday. The EMS trip to the emergency room cost me more than the roses!

Yeah, Daisies! She likes Daisies. Do you know how hard it is to find Daisies in Michigan in February?

An e-gift certificate to www.snowdaylily.com, a big online bulb place. My wife loves to garden, and I don't like giving flowers that die in three days, so a compromise is her getting to choose the bulbs and flowers of her liking, and they we get to watch them grow and last for a long while.

I got Gerry 2 pictures blown up of her and the kids outside at Xmas. The frost on the trees and the big smiles on the faces make these great pictures. Other years I got her ice wine (a kit that made 30 great bottles), 12 carbon arrows delivered to her work in a bouget (spelling), flowers with a card that said Happy VD (big laugh at her work) and the best was a new bow about 4 years ago.

Happy VD

We don't buy for each other. Our tradition is to give something made. For instance, last year I gave her a necklace I made from leather and Jade. The Jade was a piece I found on a beach here that is semi transparent and it took me forever to put a hole through it lol. She gave me a sterling/turquoise feather earring.
