Toxophiliac - Awe, I was just teasing ya'll. Look into ordering an Acadian Woods longbow and look at your options - full blown baby will cost you $1500 or so. You can get an Adcock longbow, tonkin cane limbs and excellent craftsmanship for what, $650 ?? Keep an eye out, there'll be one come up used eventually (if you can beat me to it :))

No way....I am too picky to buy a used one. I have been e-mailing O.L. everyday about woods. I guess I have decided to go with Tonkin Cane Limbs, with a Zebra venneer. Maybe get a carbon Lam under the veneer (why not.....only $40 more). I am thinking bolovian Rosewood or Gaboon Ebony for the riser. The Ebony is gonna be a bit extra. I don't know, I like them BOWth. I really like Tulip wood for the limbs, but I am going to stick with the Zebra. Still don't have any money. That 27" draw on my compound scares everybody off.
