Default GREAT PLAINS BOWS

Anyone shoot great plains recurves, I have a chance to trade a compound I have for a Great plains Rio Bravo 1 piece recurve and was wondering how good a bow these are. I found some on the net new for like 550.00, but also found used ones a couple years old for 210.00, do they not hold their value well. Any info. greatly appreciated, the bow Im trading cost 375.00 plus it has 120.00 worth of accessories on it, so I dont want to trade for something way below what my bows worth. Thanks, Dean

Default RE: GREAT PLAINS BOWS

I have a friend who has shot a great plains one piece recurve for the past few years and love it's a really good shooting bow. As to holding value there not going to hold it as well as a Black Widow or a Shaffer or for that matter any well known custom bow maker.
