RE: Hunting Poll
Those responses are from ignorant people who see Hunting as game farm killing. They do not see the real Hunting that happens and everything that it entails. Uneducated about hunting ? Yes. But they will also be the ones going to the polls in the future dictating the future of it - and thats the sad part for us, as hunters.

RE: Hunting Poll
If we follow non-hunter idea,it would be to kill all predator that kill a defendless animal because they are being cruel .THey realy have to come with better way and instead of putting blame on hunters why not on them to have wolf killes so deer can live.WOlves were balancing herds now it is up to us to do the job and to be critisized.

RE: Hunting Poll
Urban people have little chance to interact with the natural world. They consequently are subject to frequent excursions into anthropomorphic nonsense.
Example:
Lady says: How can you kill innocent animals?
Hunter replies: I only kill guilty animals.
Innocence and guilt are human concepts that have little correlation to the natural, non-human world. In order to survive, creatures must eat other creatures. That's the way things are. Assuming some semblance of a cycle, this sort of thing can be sustained for thousands of years and hundreds of generations and certain human groups have done exactly that.
Of course, the urban dweller will typically argue then that humans are no longer in need of predatory behaviors. Such an argument ignores how so-called civilized societies are really provisioned, to wit: by specialists, out of sight and out of mind, and often as not economically and politically exploited so that customers might have the benefits of no fuss or muss or higher prices.
So the next time some ignoranus (translation: ignorant *******) confronts you will the old arguments, it might prove profitable to quiz him or her on how the things they eat or otherwise consume really get from point A to their pantry or Estate at Pheasant Run.
