Default Tomahawk?

Anybody got one of these. They look really nice and was wondering how good they were.

I shot one at the Compton's gathering last spring, but for the life of me I can't remember anything about it. Guess it couldn't have been too memorable, good or bad.

I shot a bow called a Tomahawk maybe 10 years ago. It may not be the same bow, and if so it may be greatly improved. At the time, I was not impressed with it. The bottom line it to shoot one and see if you like it before you buy. I have seen some beautifull bows that did not perform well. Good Luck.

I havn't shot one, but a guy down the road from us shoots nothing but Tomahawk bows. He likes them a lot and has purchased several of them over the years from 3 Rivers.

tomahawk longbows are made by the present owners of 3 rivers archery. he has a list of the major shoots they attend in the catalog or online. I suggest you go to one of them and shoot one. I believe they are only available up to 64 inch, but not sure. I have seen them at cloverdale, but not shot one.

The Tomahawk I shot was a recurve with a big heavy riser, so it must have been from a different bowyer. Good luck with your quest.
