congrats, i hope to get my first this year. i will be hunting in ky and wv this year. i have probably hunted them 12-15 times in 6-7 different states. we have sitka blacktail in ak and i have arrowed 10-12 just have not been able to get a wt.

I smiled with goosebumps all over reading your post--that is just how I felt with my first bow kill. No words ring truer than the voice of my teacher: " Cher, make every shot a kill." as I aimed my 1,000,000 practice arrow toward that magic spot on the target. Congrats!

STAY IN THER ALL DAY AND YOU WILL SEE SOMETHING. I KILLED THIS OLE BUCK WITH MY RECUVE LAST YEAR. STAYED IN THE STAND ALL DAY, FINALLY ABOUT 5MIN TILL DARK HE CAME IN TO HIS SCRAPE.
