I would agree that by using thick glove, there could be no pain in you hands, in palm or in finger probably. As this be best for protection.

The Talon was designed for arthritic fingers (mine) I had to give up archery for a few years for this reason. It is a wrist assisted tab that you can shoot 2 or 3 under split finger or use it with a thumb index finger pinch grip. It works!
