First finger on a cainine tooth, middle finger basically in the corner of my mouth, thumb lying under my jaw bone. Multiple anchor points allow less variance, for me anyway.

Split finger generally middle finger at corner of mouth.I try to be fairly consistent but I think it's a mistake to do everything just so.

I've used several different anchors over the years and the most consistent, for me, is with the middle finger on an upper tooth that allows my thumb knuckle to just graze the back of my jaw bone. These two positions don"t move, in relation to the eyes, if you move your lower jaw. Works split finger or three under.

It really doesn't matter where you anchor, as long as it is comfortable for you and consistent. If your anchor and your grip aren't consistent, your arrow placement won't be.

Lately, I've been experimenting with putting my middle finger into the corner of my mouth. I'm liking this anchor more and more.

Ive went back to split fingers this year. I started with sprlit fingers back in the late 70s. I shot that way up until two years ago. I tried three under for about two years and have just went back too split fingers. I anchor with my thumb under my jaw, my index finger in the corner of my mouth, and the string spliting my nose.
