This board has never been the most bustling, but it's also "that time of year". I visit a few other trad sites, and the traffic has slowed down there too. We've still got the month of Jan. to hunt, and I hope to get some more time in the woods--I've barely put any meat in the freezer so far, and seeing a couple of hog deer on the camera (at night of course). The bucks just started scraping hard a week or so ago, and are just now starting to show some interest in the does. Always have this blasted late, late rut......bucks will still be chasing does when the season ends.....

The frigid winter, not expected by the global warming crowd, probably froze a lot of archers in the unexpected predicament of finding themselves in a gulag, atop their tree stand.
Maybe their fingers froze before they got to shelter, and can't key two digits together for any kind of smoke signal on their computers.
