Default She Did It Again....

My bud's daughter killed her second whitetail with a recurve yesterday evening. That's two for two. This one went maybe 80 yds, but based on the time between phone calls (talked to her dad right before they started looking, and again when they found it) there must have been one heck of a blood trail. It didn't take them long to find it, in the dark.

She missed a big buck the other evening--pretty sure she shot it in the antlers. She said all she heard was "clang-clang-clang".

Bill Leslie (IBO shooter, has represented the U.S. in international competition--dang good shot) said he got a "field goal" when he took a shot at the biggest buck he ever saw. Arrow went right where he was looking--right between the antlers. Guess she's in good company.

Good for her. A miss is better than a bad shot anyday.
