A good sharp blanced one.

As for brand. I shot a few deer this year with magnus 145 grains. When it comes to three blades, I love slick tricks, when I can find them heavy enough. Another head that I absolutly love is monotec G 5s. By far the easiest to resharpen. I tend to prefer two blades over three blades. Two blades tend to penetrate a little better.

Genarally, if you are shooting light poundage or light arrows, or you have the above and a short draw, you might want to keep it simple with a basic two blade broadhead like a Magnus II or Zwicky Eskimo.

If you have an average draw and are approaching 50#, you can try the wider heads and the mulitple blades like the Woodsman and 2 blade heads with bleeders.

Keep it simple and sharp. If you cant, the Slick Trick will work.

Great advice.
