She's almost done
Dave's bow that is.
Will sent me some logo's to some how put in the riser.
Well over the week end I played with them and was not too happy with the out come.
They are a tad under 7/8" so the first one I put in had a gap around the logo to the riser wood and did not look good at all.
So I then tried one with some black epoxy underneath the logo with clear epoxy on top, it looked better but I was still not happy with it.
So sitting wondering if putting a logo into the riser was going to be a big waste of time.
I took the 7/8" paddle bit to the belt sander and shaved a little off each side and done one last test before giving up on the whole idea.
This time the logo was a perfect fit into the hole, so I sent Dave a pic of it and he gave me the go ahead to fit one to his riser.
Here is a close up pic of the logo in Dave's riser after I had sanded it back down and a coat of finish back over the top.
When his riser dries I will get some more pics and post.
