I switched to traditional in 2000 and kept my compound as a backup bow for my recurve. I have a longbow on order so I just sold the compound on Ebay.

One thing I didn't think about was that the weight of the compound jacks the postage up and my $15 charge was insufficient especially since the winning bidder was from Canada. But such is life. I now have some money for the coming longbow and my compound is going somewhere to be used.

I was just thinking that the extra $10 postage I had to pay was worth it to send a compound out of the country. lol

Another good place to buy/sell is at archery.net. I have bought and sold several bows, quivers and other &quot;stuff&quot;.

I've sold a few bows walking around with them at GLLI etc. and by advertising on a coule of the sites. This year it did not seem that anyone walking around the Kzoo expo (myself included) was selling their bows. I'm wondering if maybe money is getting tight. The heavier bows are harder to sell but someone will eventually come around who wants it.
