Default Getting Close.......

Archery season will be here before you know it. If you haven't already, get your gear out and inspect it. If you need stuff, get it ordered. Pretty much everyone that has a shop likes to hunt too, and it puts them in a bind when they get swamped with "last minute" orders. Make life easier on them, and yourself--get your crap together now.

And don't forget, if you are a elevated archer, practice out of a stand. I shoot about every 3 days, sometimes more sometimes less. And have no issues from the ground, but today, I shot from my stand, and was all over the place, totally different scene.

Good stuff. I have too much crap already, but I have to start looking for my sons gear. We'll be hunting out of natural ground blinds and have a few complete already. Still have to make a few though.

I need to get in gear and add those rattlesnake skins to my limbs. Keep putting it off. Also I'm trying to get a shorter bow off the auction sight. SO YOU GUYS QUIT OUTBIDDING ME SO I HAVE TIME TO GET A BOW SETUP.

Well I won two bows on auction site. A Kodiak Magnum and a '67 Kodiak Hunter. Not sure which will be my go-to bow, one of those or my old Great Plains. I wanted a shorter bow and these two fit the bill at 52" and 58" respectively. Working on refinishing and repairing dings in them.
Here's the Magnum

Here's the Hunter
