Default Brackenbury Legend

Anybody know much about these ? I know of one for sale, its a right handed Legend model, made before Jim Brackenbury's death. Cocobolo riser. It has original 64", 62# red elm limbs with black glass. It has another set of 57# limbs made 2 years ago of SuperActionwood with cocobolo trim under clear glass. ( $322.00 for the extra limbs ).

Anybody know what a fair price would be on this original Brackenbury with two sets of limbs ??

I have a good friend that owns almost exactly the same bow & he says he would not part with it, as it is one of the best shooting bows (recurve & compound) he has ever owned.
Sorry I do not know what it is worth resale value but I do believe that they are still making that model, so you can get an idea of what the bow is worth new by contacting Brackenbury.

Well, I hope I made a good move. I just bought this bow, and it comes with a Doscosil (sp?) hard case too - and I am giving $450 and they pay shipping and insurance.

I'll post picks as soon as the bow shows up - did I do okay on it ??

Stealthy,

Assuming the bow is in excellent condition and in view of the fact it has two sets of limbs, you got it for a good price IMHO.

When you get the bow and shoot it you'll find you got a great deal. It doesn't matter what you pay, as long as YOU like it and I bet you do. Good luck and i'm glad for you.
