Default Rabbit fur or No Rabbit fur... how bout now...

Well I started building my sons birthday present today! Since I'm having trouble finding him a not so expensive 35# bow for practicing with, as he gets tired out to quick shooting his K-Mag, I figured he'll like this! Its no where near being finished, still have to stain it brown and seal the leather but you sorta get the idea of what its going to look like. What do you guys like better, the quiver with the fur on the out side or no fur on the outside, I'll have some on inside to quiet the arrows??? I'm still throwing around ideas to spruce it up and just tossed the fur inside to see what it looks like! I kinda like the fur so far!

Very well done Joe!! For myself I like the fur on the outside. The only bad thing Is It will catch every bit of preacher's lice out there In the woods.

I would opt for the fur. Got to have some bling.

Id go with the fur.

Ive been looking for a yote to skin so I can cover my whole quiver. I just havent come across one yet. Well, actually, I have not been out to look.

Joe, very nice quiver. I'm sure he'll be proud to wear it.

On a side note, I have a Cherry/Hickory Backed Selfbow that is collecting dust. Your son is welcome to have it. My son shot it before he went lefty (we got the extact bow in lefty also). I believe it shoots 20#'s at 24" and is 58". It's nothing hancy, but still shoots. Does need a string though. Let me know.

Here is another pic with the leather stained a light brown, I'm thinking about going just a bit darker! The fur is 2 different rabbits, is the white a bit much, should I just stick with the darker fur??
